How could I prevent repeated patterns?
Of what to me really matters,
The things I hold sacred each day,
To not worry about what I’ll do or say,
To not look back & embrace the past,
Rather to look forward, to make it last,
Conscious movement in what I’m doing,
As I try to continue with what I’m pursuing,
If irrational or paranoid thought returns,
I’ll identify it & address the concern,
Focusing on all that is now,
Maybe the way to figure out how,
It may seem that is the way,
Simply put, today is today.
